Q: What is it like working with John and Lisa?
A: It’s a blast! John and Lisa have great vision, and they challenge the staff to think and go bigger and better at all times. They honor and affirm their employees in each of their positions at the ministry.
Q: Where is the ministry located?
A: The ministry office is located just north of Colorado Springs, Colorado, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. Q: Do John and Lisa offer counseling services?
A: John and Lisa can help you with your walk with God through their books, DVDs, CDs, and curriculum, but they do not offer personal counseling. They encourage you to inquire at your local church for counseling.
Q: Is John as intense in real life as he is when speaking?
A: John has an incredible passion for people to fulfill the call of God on their lives. The intensity is the same day in and day out, but funneled in different avenues of life. This includes his golf game… he recently broke 70! He strives for excellence in every area of his life and purposes to fulfill all that God has for him.
Q: Does Messenger International have an internship or Bible college?
A: We do not offer internships nor do we have a Bible college, but John and Lisa are in close relationship with various internships and programs at Hillsong Church in Sydney, Australia.
Q: How many children do John and Lisa have?
A: They have four boys: Addison, Austin, Alec, and Arden. The boys have very different personalities but share many qualities of their parents. John and Lisa’s prayer for their sons is that they go further and farther than they have ever imagined, and touch things in the natural that have only been seen in the Spirit. They also have a lovely daughter-in-law, Julianna (married to Addison) and a stunning "G-baby" Asher!
Q: How did John and Lisa get started writing books? Can they connect me with an agent, write the foreword for my book, or endorse my book?
A: John and Lisa did not follow the normal procedures for publishing books. John self-published his first book, and then publishing companies came to him with book requests. After Lisa had spent several years editing John’s books, she was asked by publishers to write her own. Due to their current commitments, John and Lisa are unable to accommodate personal requests regarding writing or publishing.
Q: How does Lisa balance being “Mom” with traveling, speaking, and writing?
A: Lots of coffee! Lisa loves being involved in her boys’ lives. They are her priority. She carpools, attends soccer games, and is their number 1 fan at all their events. She has her priorities in order, and God has blessed her in every area of life.
Q: What version of the Bible do John and Lisa use?
A: John normally uses the New King James Version and the New Living Translation, and Lisa enjoys the New International Version, Amplified Bible, and The Message.
Q: What are John and Lisa’s favorite pastimes?
A: John loves to play golf, and Lisa enjoys gardening. One of their favorite activities together is riding their motorcycle to the local health food store for lunch dates.

A: John has written 15 books, and Lisa has written 7. Many of their books are bestsellers and are in multiple languages.

Q: What is Messenger International’s Return Policy?
• Return books, CDs, DVDs, and curriculum in their original condition.
• Include a copy of your original invoice and reason for return.
• Return within 30 days of the order date listed on your invoice.
• Shipping charges are not refundable.
• Returns made to Messenger International will be refunded in the form of the original payment.
• Any item that has obvious signs of use will incur a 15% restocking fee.
• If the need for return is due to our error, we will gladly pay the return shipping. Contact our customer service department at 800.648.1477 and they will guide you through the process.
